Big respect for helpfull board.
I need advise for start programming in Pic Basic what compiler to choise.

I suggest PicBasicPro. It's a very good starting point for newbie.
After that you could use CCS C Compiler.
Perhaps it's better to start directcly with C.
Nowadays this is the choice of embedded world. And it's not that complicated. It's full with examples and a lot of books you cand find even here.

I agree with tavioman..
CCS seems difficult to learn for beginners (like me) but has a lot of example sources and good support forum pages to learn.

I Recommand U To Start Work With (pic Simulator Ide)
