Hi Folks,

I designed this circuit on multisim and I wanted to connect GND to pin6 for compartor (max913). Multisim gave me error that it can't converge.

I also noticed that the Q output is moving from -4v to 1v
and Q\ is moving from -9v to -4v , i think the values are going crazy.
i attached the project.

Do not trifle with the Moderators , as you are small, and crunchy, and taste good with ketchup.

I dont have multisim to look at your circuit. But I always suspect the subcircuits. They can often have models that are not convergence friendly.

If is a DC operating point failure or a time step failure.?

sometimes slewing sources on startup or adding R & C's to some nodes that change rapidly can help.

If you are convinced it is in the maxim model and cant resolve it, then perhaps you can just make a simpler version of it to test out your circuit.
Just some ideas.

I can explain this to you. I can't comprehend it for you.
