Simple but great hardware and a good work bench tool based on PIC16F690 with some resistor cap and and relay and two switch for mode change and calibration added fully functional Proteus simulation.

Capacitance Range 1pF to 0.1F
Inductance Range  10nH to 20H
Resistance Range  1mohm to 0.5ohm

proteus is not the real world, and is basically rubbish.

let us know when you have made a real working unit

Old_but_Alive i agree with you Proteus is some time behave like crape here is example attach in real hardware every thing working fine but when it is come Proteus it is not working as expected as Proteus required 100% optimized code what a crape.

further i have made real hardware of the L/C meter for a friends and working fine but now at our local component supplier PIC16F690 is out of stock once arrive make an other one and share here (picture).

Sooooo... where is your proteus file?
I can also make a series of screenshots and brag 'bout a homemade device that makes pancakes, by it self Cheesy

just download sonsivri LCM txt file and you will find it

@Sadman,

I apologise if I was a bit harsh.

your spec of

Capacitance Range 1pF to 0.1F
Inductance Range  10nH to 20H
Resistance Range  1mohm to 0.5ohm

is just not acheivable in practice

I was came across this design in 2011 during a google search, DIY pic based L/C meter on a Hungarian electronic web page but at that time PIC16F690 was unavailable in my country. a couple of month back i made this for my friend who required this to build boost converter for LED Light and wants to calculate the inductor for it.

yes it work for the said parameters it is the job of the math working inside the PIC16F690 see some image from real hardware i will found link to that web page from my old internet explorer favorite book marks i also call my friend to send me some picture of the hardware with measurements

can you post the firmware source code ?

does it auto zero out the pf and mohms for the measuring wires ?

Honestly i never measure or check the mohms just check it with inductance and Capacitance further i do not have source code only Hex files as author of the project did not release it.

hxxp://inx.narod.ru/lcfm/lcfm1.html  This Russian guy convert the code or rewrite it for 16 segment LCD display but he did not share any code or even Hex file only schematic.

hxxp://www.electronicslab.com/projects/test/024/index.html This guy made it with firmware version 1.35 (my uploaded is 1.25 which is more stable)

hxxp://scopionz.blogspot.com/2015/11/simple-and-accurate-lc-meter-circuit.html This guy made it own PCB and share it experience

Not least but last i found the link to original author web page from my record which you can see in links below on page 7 you can find the all firmware version but only Hex files, author of the project discuss the theory of operation in detail on first three pages.
