What is this for?

Anyone have PicKit2 dat file with working entry for 18F24K50 (or even 18F25K50 which I can modify) that they can post?. I found an updated dat file on GitHub which had the wrong id. After I changed the id, PicKit2 recognises the device correctly but does not program it.

Hi  towlerg,

I found 3 version of PK2DeviceFile.dat that seams include 18F24K50 and other members of its family.

I have no guaranties that these files are Ok, so try the version "VersionXXX" that seam the more recent, if it doesn't works try VersionXX and VersionX.

I hope this can help you.

Best regards.

Thanks very much Titi. I've got it working. The one on GitHub is almost correct. Change the following

Device ID: 0x5c60 (was 0x5c30)
Program mem write script: 104 (was 298)
Program mem write words: 32 (was 64)
