My circuit is similar to yours but with a resistance of 680 ohms in parallel with it lines her phone. Alone this in parallel when I generate the tones.

hummm...

i am not using transformer because i haven-t.

i have a problem of dialing....  sometimes the number dialed by pic works ok and sometimes calling can-t start  >(

Jeanine, if the number dialed is not recognized, try slower interval in between teh pulses and longer pulse length.  That will give the recipient more time to react to the dialed out pulses.

You can prove of the time that is generated each tone and the space among them extending. 500 are the time that lasts each tone and 100 the silence among them. 
 
DTMFOUT PORTB.1,500,100,[number]
