At my university in Greece and special in Crete(if you now) l there is about 50% girl that study's electrical engeener!!!

For me it is netheir sad nor cheerful if the ratio is low or high because I think women in their physology has different intreset than men so it is not surprising to have low ratio in the field of engineering and opposite situation in other fields.
for example in teaching the ratio is in the favor of women.
