First, we have this genius:
> Country usa Site FACEBOOK.COM/MINDCRYPT6 Note musician collector a man of demonic darkness who likes to write and make noise that sustains throughout the scenery of others <
Perhaps there should be some way to vote against some of these morons, other than ignore them. Maybe a "You Suck - go away" button?
2nd, I think I have a solution to the leech question: Any download automatically adds a "Thank You" with your name. Only members above a certain level can remove their name from the "Thank You" list. For example, I download a link and discover it's not a link available to my location. As a VIP or Active member, I can then go back to that message and delete my name since the link isn't useable to me. It also becomes readily apparent who is sucking the system of resources without ever contributing anything.
What do you think?

I was tempted to invite that oddball, actually. 'I like the cut of his jib' (a Montgomery Burns quote).
As far as thank yous go, there's already a download counter and, frankly, getting a TY from the real crusty ones on this site (I can't thank myself enough....) means 100x more than an automatic blip from a guy who just picked up a $10k item for use by his employer or school and can't be bothered to drop $100 to run the site in the mail or even press a simple f'ing button (I think not having usernames posted, just count, will prompt more TY's).
What may be more useful is a simple formula to determine an a-hole coefficient (PF =pickit2 factor):
AQ = PF*DLS^3/((TYG+TYRx^2)*POSTCOUNT)
Now, solve for x

look at board4all, they managed thankyou thing very well, you need to press thank you to download sth, or the uploader can decide how many thankyous' you have got in order to allow you to download sth, this is a great idea to kick leechers aways..

Golden programmer's rule - "Give a precise name and use it as intended".
"Thank you" button/counter adds positive (in all senses) feedback to communication. Intended use of TY button is to let people express their sincere gratitude without meaningless stretching of threads.
We are what we are doing. Pressing on TY button I can feel as doing right. FY button will not be a nice thing to look at and to think of. In other words it would be a bad meme.
By the same reason there is no (and never will) a "dislike" game on facebook. Give a right name to a right game and play it right ;)

This is correct - it should be a "Disallow" or "dis-favor" button. I would not want an actual "You Suck" button and should have made it clear. It just seems there are a lot of people that have a complete grasp of membership application and a few that either want to intentionally cause problems or are completely oblivious that this is about engineering.

A you suck button would be the best. Much better than having to tell someone in words that their ideas are dumb.

You don't think I would spend any time pressing that thing,
when I built this.

I don't see the BAN bus anywhere in that schematic nor can I discern how many mega-hurts it runs at.
The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks That flesh is heir to, 'tis a consummation Devoutly to be wish'd. To die, to sleep; To sleep: perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub; For in that sleep of death what dreams may come When we have shuffled off this mortal coil
And running your mortal coil on the same rail as analog is just begging for a lot of noise.

The BAN bus is not shown as it's a production model and can't be released into the wild. yes relay has diode protection, noise would be a benefit in this case. code is blinkeynodelay, ino and long interval = 1000; is changed to 100 Update: in new version the relay is replaced with a mosfet and is wired into a port on a keyboard key extender, using a pic16C84 and coded using wizbasic 3.1 the last unstable version of this well known, and much pirated softwares known to all coders, who live on the edge, and don't mind the odd way it takes your code and add an element of risk that's why you need a RISC processor, the older the better.
