It seems to have a 2-minute (max) capture limitation on the "fully functional" download demo version.

What makes it so special is, it's the one I'm interested in.

Most "downloaders, rippers and converters" the internet is full of, try to either pull from the cache or download directly, if the website is using a special flash app that's not possible, if the website doesn't allow direct downloading, that also is not possible, this app acts as a shim, captures whatever is playing on your desktop regardless of the program that's running/playing.

Whether that's special is up to you.

Try also for Camtasia Studio. It is also a screen recorder.

I tried Camtasia several years ago and can't recall what exactly I didn't like about it, but I moved on to something else to get the job-de-jour done.

I just checked out a Youtube vid on the latest version 7 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPl_DnQPA0U) and it looks like it's pretty cool these days.

Do you have a link to v7 with medicine?.
