Hi,

I just received my 240x128 GLCD based on T6963C from my supplier. It doesn't came with a datasheet Huh Unfortunately it's not from one of known manufacturers, it doesn't have pin designators written on pcb and even worse it has non-standard connectors config.  Angry

Here is some of the info I can get from module itself....
1) There is logo of the manufacturer which says "DigiTroi"
2) LCD no. is SG240128A3 VER2.1
3) It has 1xT6363C, 5xSPLCD86A-FL082, 1xWinbond24655 and 1xBA10324AF chips
4) It has 2 separate connectors - CN1-20 pins,   CN2-12 pins Shocked

Since it is quite costly, I wish to be sure about pinout before connecting it with my board. I am searching net, but until now I haven't got similar module.
I anyone has come across such module and can give me pinout or any other info, I'll be grateful.

thanks

Hey there!
Well without a picture of the display it's really hard to search for a datasheet
because I can't compare the dimensions and connectors.

First have a look at the connectors. I think CN1 should be tha usual
parallel interface. Is it connectet with the T6963C?, if yes it's the parallel interface
with backlight (mostly pin 19 and 20).
And if CN2 is connected to the T6963C too, maybe through another chip, your display
has a serial interface too.

Most displays wit T6963C on board have similar pinouts. Therefore it's not neccessary to
find exactly the datasheet of your model. I've found two in the internet. One is the A-Model
and one the B-model. Both are SG240128.

A: http://www.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf/pdf/169903/ETC2/SG240128A.html
B: http://www.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf/pdf/82024/ETC/SG240128B.html

If they don't fit, try to find the GND pin with your multimeter and maybe grab the
T6963C datasheet which helps you to find the VCC pin.
If you have those two, compare them with other T6963C-LCD-datasheets and you
soon will have your pinout.
