Some compiler vendors update every 6 months leaving customers long periods in which workarounds are the only solution. Others like CCS have a compiler that can have several versions installed simultaneously on a single PC. CCS has a stable version and the latest version with the weekly or daily fixes. If there is an issue that the latest version fixes then there is no need for a workaround if there is no issue then the stable version suffices. If the issue isn't fixed in the latest version then the next version may address it. Some never having experienced the necessity of using workarounds for months on end aren't understanding the value of a rapid versioning approach. If rapid versioning is a problem then only using the CCS stable version and waiting several months for the next one is always available as a choice.

Hello, it looks like there is a pretty nasty bug in 4.138 with respect to making pointers to functions. Previously the code always compiled, now it does not.
Does anyone have the 4.140 version?
Happy New Years!

I compiled several projects with 4.140 and they are ok. Try uninstalling and making a clean install. I'm using Windows 7 x64 home premium.

Re-upload of 4.140. I've not tried this before, so I hope it works.
