I am new in this forum. I have looked through a lot of postings in this fourm. But I have not seen any links to torrent sites like Piratebay. Is it against forum rules to post such links. As an answer then members are requesting Ebooks or programs?

I think there is no rule as to posting links, but as most people know E-Mule/Donkey and Virisus go hand in hand.
One thing not in favour of such links is you have no control of them. I would say there are loads of free upload sites that if you don't name the files with real name they will last longer.

a much better way might be to post files on a private FTP site and give everyone here access to it.
I tried this but my ISP kicked my butt and told me to take it down.  What is needed is someone that had a company server that would allow us to set up a server.  The reason for using FTP is that it does not have all of the over head of the HTTP links and is therefore nearly twice as fast....

any ideas how to do this would be appreciated.. I would even volunteer to maintain it.

We have ran public ftp, but it didn't work. As it uploading/maintaining, and copyright issues. These solutions doesn't lasts long. So thats why we choose this way.
