No idea about the size of the machine you want to build, but if it is not a big one then here is an alternative for stepper motor driver. I put this also on CncZone sometimes ago.

The driver in action:

PS: Can not attach files, got this : "The upload folder is full. Please try a smaller file and/or contact an administrator."

Hi,

I had no mean to show only the video, i still can not attach any file - do not know where is the problem.

What i was trying to say, for me it was easier and quicker to find a broken cnc engraver and then replace all the electronics.

Well i will start studying the difference between these design, and show them to mechanical engineer for advising before the build. All design seams to be good, but i liked the design provided by hosmis because it contains solidworks part.

Anyway thanks to all of you. And if anybody still have any design please post it.

Yes, I am also waiting to hear from Ahmad_k as I also want to indulge myself to build one for my personal use. For a long time, I am hoping to get one cnc milling machine for myself. It would be a dream project.

Ahmad, why dont you just use ArtCAM!!   It is far more advanced than TypeEdit and readily available.

I will give it a try. Because as i know TypeEdit can control directly the machine without the necessity of external software.

I have a JGRO I built.  While the plans are useable as they are, there are a few things that need addressed.  I modified them to suit my needs.
