For who want to share information within community borders (that guests cannot see);
Just write your information in text file, then attach it to your post. This way only registered users can download it and see what you shared. And you don't have to Pm or Mail all users that asking it. This keeps up forum clean and users can access the source without you answering.

Long story short: We don't want person by person sharing here, share to all community.

For example: rapidshare accounts, torrent tracker invitations, crack file, license key...

Also we need to keep all posts from being coded, so that if we need to lock down links, we can.

. still if you you have

I feel that there is no point in hiding anything for those who are not Active member. For example a newbee is here to get knowledge. He/She may not have so much experiance to share with others. And afterall newbee is also a part of community.
As said by Godfather... Knowledge is for sharing not for hiding.

I'd prefer hidden links (hidden from guests) The point of being a member is to receive and offer help to other members.
Members must have some privilages that guests do not have or it's not much point in registering..

Often download links are hammered by leaching guests before members have a chance to download.
As I write this, there are 127 guests and 21 members...

Guests take but don't support the forum in any way...

Yes you already have; post and talk ability, pm other members, also you can invite people too. Those privileges have not given to guests. So you still have reason to register. But I must tell you; registering is not a rank, it is grant. To share. You are registering to share, not hiding, nor kicking outsiders. That 127/21 ratio gives you huge people to show your experience.

I offered attachment solution as a cover of link deletions. Its overkill if you block whole people not to see links.

Yes, knowledge should be free. No need for hiding. It should be free for all as much as possible.

Hi,
We all started from a new user. any thing should not be hidden becasuse when some one finds good information then he/she comes to register. and becomes a member. I think it is good to attach the files and hide it from guests. hidding information from members is not so good.
We are here to share knowledge. not to hide.

When I offered attachment, also public information should be written too. We are not here to share only within community.
