Hey all,

I installed both PICC for the PIC 10/12/16 devices AND PICC for PIC32 both in evaluation mode. Then I installed HI-TIDE. I did the same thing on two different computers. In both cases, HI-TIDE only recognizes the PICC for 10/12/16 compiler set. I can not see the PIC32 toolchain anywhere in HI-TIDE. This is happening on both computers.

OS: Windows Vista, the other computer: Windows XP
Using latest HI-TIDE and latest compilers from HITECH.

Is anyone else having this problem? How can it be solved?

Put it in, take it out.

Since neither are cracked versions, perhaps this question would be better asked in the Hi-Tech forum at their website.

Well, has anyone else had luck with this? I've tried it on three computers now. Also checked the compiler's directories. In both the PICC and PICC18 install directores, there is a hi-tide plugin directory. But I found no such plugin directory in the PICC32 install directory. This could be why. Now why isn't the PICC32 installer installing the plugins?

Setting? What do you mean? I checked everything I could. What do I have to do to get this to work?

Hi
same problem with HI-Tech C8051 9.70 and Hi-Tide 2.13
info from user's manual:
"HI-TIDE is able to automatically detect and integrate installed HI-TECH
compilers that are compatible with HI-TIDE. The compiler used with HI-TIDE
is able to be selected when creating a project or working with a project."

So I guess we have to wait for new versions of HI-TIDE

The latest beta adds support for the PIC32. Going to download and test now, I'll report back.
