I made Gtp-usb programmer.I'm tested Asus mainboard pc. It's work but I'm tested  MSI mainboards It's  not worked this programmer.

I also built a gtp-usb lite it work on all the computer in our office and in our home. I also tried it on my collegues laptop and works flawless to, but upon trying it on my own laptop (MSI) it fails at around 96% then you need to plug it out again to detect the programmer.

That's the reason why I ordered pickit 2 from microchip and i'm now selling my gtp-usb lite programmer.

It can be a problem for all designe whics are powered just from usb (are depending to the mainbords 5V, wich can be just 4,7 V).
For this reason i plan to introduce a step up converter or an ext power connection for my icd2, pick kit 2 circuit.

the pickit2 can program at 13.5Volts also it can program 2.5V to 5V devices, and also run [vcc 2.5 to 5V] low count pin demo board at these voltages

Many motherboard didnt support GTP-USB lite. its true. but my icd2 work fine. please discus about why.

It's not the GTP plus version I have a working vesrion and a spare chip clearded up some errors but it does not work

Writing was not good at the HEX data by genuine GTBplus.
There is a part without data during the file either.
I want to know whether to make like any and to have taken out the file.
The integrated circuit chip is removed and read from my GTBplus.
Though it is thought that it is not possible to read because it protects.

I think that hacking the code protect won't work. You should buy the PIC with the firmware because you won't obtain the .hex from the PIC with this mettods.

There are three years discussing about firmware for USB GTP Plus without any result

True 3 years a watse of time, the cost of a pre-programed chip and building it,cheaper to buy a pickit2 & samples. Also it still can't program all the pic range of devices, with out errors.
