Why do majoring in electronic is better than majoring in power,communication or instrumentation?

by majoring in special field you will limit your scope...
while majoring in electronics you will be like jack of all trades and you can work in many fields...
apart from that you and master the field in which you have started to work,....
you have more choices, options jobs then those..
