Hello all:

One of my current projects is using a MCP79412 Real Time Clock by Microchip (essentially a DS1307 with many additional features and a small EEPROM) and so I have released the first version of my driver on GitHub. I will be adding documentation as well as additional features in the near future, but for now, here is V1.

https://github.com/ve4edj/mcp794xx

Please take a look and let me know if you find it useful / have suggestions / want to help me out!

Thanks!

Code:
...

#include "MCP794xx.c"

#endif

In line 108 of the .h you include the .c file, why?
Or is this a CCS thing?

This is a CCS thing, as CCS does not offer any standard method for compiling a program with separate compilation units.

Thanks for looking over the code!

I have tested it on V5.xxx, although I'm not using any CCS-specific features other than I2C, so it should work on v4.xxx as well!
