Interesting stuff. I did'nt knew that microchip ware developing a 32bit MCU. They will be all in TQFP packages, so it's not so hobbiest friendly...

hi, it is identical to the C30 the programs are adaptable perfectly. If you have written of the ruotines in assembler I would not know.

Hi everyone. Good find by mculove. Just to clear the air on the PIC32 microcontrollers : Microchip is launching a US$49 hardware kit which will help experimenters to use the new PIC32 microcontrollers. As of now, they are only available in TQFP packages in 64,80 and 100 pins. The new kit is being launched on Nov 15. The C32 compiler will support the PIC32 range. It is downloadable free from the Microchip website (evaluation version). The full version will cost US$1100

Dear krakatoa, also the proposed version for the pic on the demoboard 64Kb enough and is left over . Io aspetto che esca una versione più libera del compilatore C32 . While study the examples that come supplied and see in what consist this microcontroller. I hope that it is not only a great PIC like it has been the PIC24. The IAR has not still made no compiler, hopes the face soon its compilers is optimal.

I know almost nothing about C (a little little little bit) and nothing about that MIMS or MIPS architecture, but ordered the starter kit and will ship the 12th of November. I guess I'll have to learn C now. I lived to see the day that µicrochip made a 32 bit µicro

Just a note about microchip software, if you have a valid install, the software don't ask for serial, same for MPLab software, it knows you accepted the install questions from original install.
