hi friends,

how to convert a pic16f870 single ended pwm output to complimentary
output (push-pull type) using discrete logic?

regards

Hi, to get complimentary output, use two op amp, connect in a way that the pwm output will be connected to the + and - of the 2 op amp while 2.5v goes to the other ends of the op amp. I will upload a picture when i get home.

Change code to have output on two pins in oposite phase or use inverter.

You need to consider adding dead band control to prevent cross conduction. If you are going to drive mosfets then a mosfet driver like IR2104/84 is a good choice, or change the PIC which have Enhanced PWM feature.

Hi max,
You can't have push-pull output with discrete logic from PWM output of PIC16F870. You have to use the compare module in CCP and use interrupt to obtain push-pull output. Or you could implement the whole thing on software using only the timer.
