Hi,
I'm a student of animal biotechnology. My problem is saving data by an old Gel Documentation (Gel-doc) System. The system is featured with a 3.5" FDD, capacity of which is too less for multiple measurements and frequently floppy disk error occurs. The solution for it could be some kind of adapter, which uses FDD interface build in in Gel-doc System and on the other side is supported with USB interface making using USB-Memory Sticks possible (such as http://www.ipcas.com/products/usb-floppy-emulator-fdd-to-udd.html or http://www.plrelectronics.com/floppy_to_usb.php). I wish if you would possibly provide me a schematic in order to build it by myself....
I'm waiting for advices...

Thank you,

There is a post by "emufudd" in this thread which lists quite a few options for floppy emulators:
http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/2005/02/the-floppy-drive-must-die.html

The spec sheet from torlus for the SDcard version:
http://hxc2001.free.fr/floppy_drive_emulator/SDCard_HxC_Floppy_Emulator.pdf
says this:
Write support: ISO MFM 256/512/1024Bytes sector write supported.
