Hello,
I am currently trying to do RF comm. between 2 micros. My local shop offered me a TX-RX module pair. I tried to find some more data about these, but haven't got much.
The TX module is numbered R433M & has no visible IC & has pin config - GND, DATA, VCC, ANT. The RX module has an IC- HIMARK RX3400-LF & has pin config -GND, DATA, DATA, +5V, +5V, GND,GND,ANT.
I figured out that both are 433MHz modules. But I need more information, especially datasheet and app. notes, so that I can start experimenting with modules. Any examples will be an added advantage.
regards, sam_des

here are the datasheets, i used google, it took 10 secs to find the specs, & here is some discussion about experimenting using RX/TX modules http://www.8051projects.net/forum-t20068.html

Hi!
Why don't you use TRW24G modules to Transmit and Receive Data at the Distance of 180 Meters, also the complete project has been uploaded on Sonsivri (Projects)

Too short distance.
Something with 500mW but have distance 100Km ~ and the characteristic between HF and VHF to avoid F and E layer problem(depends on sun and day).

i generally use 4 sw rf module for transmitting upto 500meters , it is great to transmit without error , logic is >> 4 sw has upto 16 combination convert the hex number into decimal , use 1-A for 0-9 and use B-F for transmitting start and stop of byte . it is also use in bi direction communication , tested ok... no doubt if find helpful press tanks button >> i always face an environment, which demand must design with available resources

Impressive range for cheap walkie-talkies, where can I buy such a pair? Any of the cheap ones I've encountered claim 2 km range and are somewhat likely to work for about a city block on a good day.
