How to render resister value in Altium 3d as shown below ?

for have also text value different, you must make a stp 3d file for each resistor value

Actually I was asking the way to put value on the top in 3D view.

What koky said. There's no magic way. You need to draw that text in the 3D model. So for every different resistor value you would need to manually create & store a different 3D model.

Yap. I came to know its not possible. SO I am doing things manually.

I avoid using step models in my libraries and only uses the simple altium extrusions.

Once the library gets slightly big the step files take up WAY too much space.  library and PCB files become huge.  I don't like it.

We use Altium at work, and we have step file models in all of our library components. Including more "complicated" components (mechanically complicated anyway) like switches, connectors, etc. Our libraries are literally many hundreds of MBs in size. They are quite slow to load.

Well, if you want something extra you have to sacrifice something also !

it may be easier to add texture on 3D..
