hi,
You can not edit compiled libraries. If you want to edit existing part, in your PCB project select " Project->  Add Existing to Project" browse existing "C:\Program Files\Altium Designer Winter 09\Library\ *.intlib" file that include your shematic parts. now you must see added shematic lib file under your project file title "Libraries->Compiled Libraries" double click on edded lib file. Than Altium decompile this file as *.pcblib and *.schlib

Now you can edit any part.
