As anyone used the technique to make PCB's using a laser printer, to make front panels graphics? I thought if I could design the front panel on FrontDesigner, print it out on some "Press n peel", and then Iron it straight on to the front panel of the enclosure, it would look very professional. Sounds feasible. Anyone done it?

There is some new stuff on pulsars website, to create decals of all sorts. This has been used from such with good effort, regarding to another electronice forum. I will order a set ( 75$ ) from them in a while to try myself. There are vids there where you can see how it is done...

I have used it to print small lables on plastic cases, I used a modified soldring iron to run over back of paper reversed lable, then is sort of burnt into plastic.

I have transferred it onto plastic and sheet alumium running it through the laminator with excellent results regarding the multi color decals on the pulsar site I have the material but not much luck using it but then again I haven't tried very hard  Grin.
The nice thing about transferring it to clear plastic sheet is you can put the mirror image on the inside of the panel further protecting it without any coating
