Req: IR Remote Control with PIC

How to Interface to PC Keyboard with IR Remote control?
So I want to control IR Remote Control used in TV (Sony , Toshiba) to PC
via Keyboard Port which is designed with PIC Microcontroller.
Any Sources or Schematics ?

A schematic would not be enough, you also need to be able to program a microchip.
I have something similar (I made it myself), I use a PIC 16F877 and a TSOP1736.
Are you familiar with Proton PicBasic ?

No Bro,I am not familiar with Proton PicBasic but
I used MPASM from Microchip .
Don't worry It has many Basic Compilers
I want to use 16F628A for my Application Project.
But any of PIC used is OK for me

If you use a Sharp or Vishay IR rcvr module, then tie the TTL output to 1 bit on a PIC input port, you can easily do a serial->parallel conversion on the data stream-in the PIC.

Then, store or foward the byte stream, and output to the RS232 port on the PIC, tied to the PC serial port---

Then use Uice or one of the many control progs available on the internet to trip off events based on the remote button that has been pressed.

The sites that use Uice show many examples (and even if they are not  PIC based, they are easily adapted..)
