USB to audio from Ti are PCM2704, PCM2705, PCM2706, PCM2707.

http://focus.ti.com/paramsearch/docs/parametricsearch.tsp?&familyAliasId=1100582&familyId=582&uiTemplateId=NODE_STRY_PGE_T&techFamId=null&sectionId=null&tabId=null&appId=null&viewDeviceCallingPage=null&totalCount=56&showAdditionalParameters=no&parameter=2565504385&parameter=2565504411&lc=2000580&lc=2000084&lc=2001345&lc=2000579&lc=2300088&lc=2001339&lc=2200348&lc=2001340&lc=2001341&lc=2300344&lc=2001342&compare=yes&download=yes&sort=yes&customize=yes&paramResults=yes&paramCriteria=yes&familyTree=yes&military=no&baSystem=yes&paramTable=no&sortOption=&sortMode=&searchPaths=1100582&pageId=undefined&templateId=0&navigationId=0&family=analog&paramTable=no&military=no&&uiTemplateId=NODE_STRY_PGE_T&techFamId=null&sectionId=null&tabId=null&appId=null&viewDeviceCallingPage=null&resetCompare=true#sdp

The PCM2704/5/6/7 is TI's single-chip USB stereo
audio DAC with USB-compliant full-speed protocol
controller and S/PDIF. The USB-protocol controller
works with no software code, but USB descriptors
can be modified in some parts (for example, vendor
ID/product ID) through the use of an external ROM
(PCM2704/6), SPI (PCM2705/7), or on request.
The PCM2704/5/6/7 employs SpAct architecture,
TI's unique system that recovers the audio clock from
USB packet data. On-chip analog PLLs with SpAct
enable playback with low clock jitter.

I have a similar idea with ktl...
I think you can try to find a DSP with USB2.0 high speed interface which operate with a speed higher than 294.912 Mhz @ 640X480,16-bit color and 60hz refresh rate...and you program it your self is a better way to save your time to find a ic like that.....it may be more fun:P

the usb audio ic.....
