Hi,
Can any body suggest a circuit of a Pulse generator with following spec.
Frequency: .1Hz to 100kHz
Duty cycle: 10% to 90%
Amplitude: 5V

you can use the built in PWM controller in PIC16F microcontroller to produce the required duty cycle with frequency control or you can try the ICL8038 chip

See Frequency Generator 2.6 at
http://www.softpile.com/Education/Mathematics/Review_21743_index.html
Frequency Generator contains 3 Generators, you can choose between
Sine, Square, Triangle, SawtoothNeg, SawtoothPos, Pink Noise
Total Recall, save all setting into a Project file.
Trigger Mode is certainly for the Oscilloscope.
Trigger Level +50;-50 Mode Up Flang and Down Flank.
Frequency from 0,01 Hz up to 22050 Hz.

You can try to do it with a 555, there are many examples on the net,
. But if you want to do more things, I would recommend you to do it with a PIC.

Also can be done with an LS123 TTL with selectors for R/C network as needed...take a look at a TTL spec book for sample circuits under the 74(ALS)123

Cheapest option probably the Pic12F675, tie output to darlington transistor or n channel fet
code set to your required output or throw in a pot for variable output.
More option available with pic!

What sort of waveform are you wanting? Do you need sawtooth, square, sine, or all of them? This will determine if it is easier to use a PIC or go to a dedicated IC.

check ad9852 data sheet . This IC can have output up to 100mhz then feed back into input comparators for pulse out put. 1 output is AC, other is DC level (both are programmable)
