Hello all,

I am playing with ESP32 to understand if i can use it like a principal MCU with a new project.
In this moment i am studing ESP32's DAC to paly music(MP3 and WAV formats).
Anyone had try this? And have any comment?

Can you? yes
Should you? probably not

The onboard DAC is far and I mean far inferior to modern audio DACs...

Also if you are going to do Mp3, might as well use a Mp3 decoder with a built in DAC...

CocaCola, you are right i am trying to put this to work, but the result is not good.
The best is use a MP3 decoder.

Please look on github - I have used this source and it work ok.

it can use dac inside or external i2s codec.
