I am a hobbyist who has been designing and building small scale PIC and AVR projects, mainly for personal use. I have been a regular poster and contributor on avrfreaks for over 6 years. I have built many microcontroller projects but always used assembler, as that's the way I learned. I am now looking to broaden my knowledge and experience by using C. I have a wide electronics background, having been a RADAR and communications engineer in the RAF, and then moving into various electronics manufacturing positions. I particularly enjoy building radio projects based around the 433MHz modules. I am now working in a hospital as a Bio-Medical Engineer. I hope by being able to join the community that I can pass on some of my experience to others, and also to be able to pick others brains while I continue on my quest to master embedded C!
