I found something strange with the DC simulation results using V 17.2
It may be a bug; I don't know. If I simulate the same circuit with V 16, the Ic of Q1 goes up with temperature, while in V 17.2 it decreases as shown.
If I use another simulator like TINA-TI, the Ic also increases with temperature, similar to V 16.

I would expect Ic to increase with temperature. Any ideas?

Different models are being used between v16 and v17? one of them might be using a model that doesnt have all the parameters populated (defaults=zero etc..)

Can you verify that the same model is used for 2N3904 ?

I can explain this to you. I can't comprehend it for you.

I don't have access to V 16 at the moment.  I did look at the V 17 model, and almost all the parameter fields have a non-zero entry. Creation date 2001

I decided to try with another common NPN transistor (2N4401) and got the same reverse trend for Ic. So it may not be a model problem.
