Hello board members,
There are many ftp sites to download lots of stuff with direct link... like books,softwares,videos etc...
So why not just use this post to share those links here... I have observed that after heavy traffic detected few of the sites are protected but guess what... many of us can leech it and share it when needed...
To start with I want to share one recent search where you can find many mixed books, different documentaries and Matlab direct links...
as it should not be available to outsiders I have kept the link in the attached txt file...
Hope someone will find it useful...
If you have already known please ignore the post and if you know anyother sites please share it...

The 'download' folder of the link you posted doesn't work anymore.

Hello hef4015, yes you are right now the download folder is not accessible or deleted. This is the problem with FTP  - as told in my post earlier... as the admin detects high traffic on the server he might hide it... or as in this case as it was illegal share - it might have been deleted also... Sorry that you could not get the chance to look inside... If you need something from urgent let the board members know... if we have it we will try to provide it... Regards, electrojit |

Hello hef4015 and other board members,
If the FTP is not loading or showing anything - we can use the command like this in google:
inurl:(WEBSITE LINK)
This keyword inurl: is pretty good and can be used to see many things on the folders that says sorry can not look inside the folder, no access.
Try that out on few things - I am sure many of you are already aware of it and if not you are going to use it more often than u think.

Hello Board Members, One more direct FTP links to many books ranging from C++, Matlab to Automotive Control and what not... Only if I could leech the whole server... (Well can't read everything so have to let go) Note1: It has root directory and one other directory where many other books are stored with renamed files... bit hard to know which book it is... but good thing is it contains one text file which can help to decipher the book name.... And the main reason the links die, so quickly, is the traffic increase from their site,
The posting such links in an open board on this and other sites.
Alerts site owner and brings the site to copyright police, the site owner then has to take action.
This is partly one of the reasons, we made the rule about Posting direct links to other sites.
much better to take a copy to repost on a file hosting site with better control of where the links are posted.
