Saleae Logic 16 clone not working with newest software

I have a logic 8 clone and it works all the way up to 1.1.20 (beta). The particular feature I needed since 1.1.19 is USB low speed analyzer. This is super handy for V-USB debugging.

Additionally, each Spartan-3A FPGA contains a unique, factory-programmed Device DNA identifier useful for tracking purposes, anti-cloning designs, or IP protection.
Some MATH and comparing to magic bytes in eeprom content should be the protection mechanism.
Maybe reversing the software can help, just for curiosity.

I have a logic 8 clone
I tested the new standalone version 1.23 and work very well
Now you can analyze many more standard of older versions

Logic 8 works with all version's, logic 16 is the problem, since logic 16 has an FPGA inside...

Can someone give me old version of logic 16 which came with CD. unfortunately I lost my CD. With 1.1.15  I always get error "not able to keep up with the rate". As ficho said "Logic 8 works with all version's, logic 16 is the problem, since logic 16 has an FPGA inside"

Download 1.1.15 from Saleae website doesn't work with Saleae 16 FPGA(Xilinx). I have tried different OS(windows, Linux distributions), USB2, USB3  without success .  On CD there was a crack. Someone who owns old CD please upload the crack. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for Links. I tried this folder on my VM (Windows 7, Windows XP). Unfortunately I get same error "not able to keep up with the rate".

maybe the VM is the problem. Did it worked before in the VM? Is there any usbhub used? I dont have a Logic 16, only the Logic 8.
 You can try sigrok to test if it would work in the VM, its supported. http://sigrok.org/wiki/Saleae_Logic16

No, I didn't try before on VM. No there is no usbhub. Sigrok is nice, but no good instructions available yet.

Have you tried the newest beta versions? My problems with the logic 16 clone started when they changed the protocol in the 1.1.19 and 1.1.20 versions. May be yours works correctly with the newer software and just not with the old 1.1.15 version.
