I wrote a full animated crossing simulation (also attached) in Proteus:
It is using 4 LCDs, 4 traffic lights and a PIC16F84 (assembly source included too).

hi sir  iam student of be electrical engineering
and i want to make moving message display using 8051 microcontroller 
but i have no idea how to do it ...iam familier with 8051 and i hav write many code for differnt purpos but about moving message i have enough qeuries .if u hav done plz guide me waiting

I'm attached two zips here but you cannot to see beacuse you don't have posts enough yet. You must have min. 25 posts to get a status "Junior member". After this you can see and download the attachments in posts and can to search here in Sonsivri.

Do you have a Proteus v7x installed? If not, you can it download from Sonsivri too.
I'm working with it only. I recommend the v7.1 sp2...
The AT89C2051 what I'm using is 8051 compatible.

Yes, it's possible but not so easy, needed be more programming and hw ports. There are a lot of SPI controlled serial eproms and code examples how to use it ...

Why do not use an other uC (for example a PIC16F628A) with embedded EEPROM?

Dear Sir Zuisti,

I see your both projects. Boths are very nice but crossing project is really great project & use new use of LCD. Another thing is program is working with pic16f84, only 357 program words are using.

Very nice ASM Code, specially useful to learn new programming skills.
