Wake me up when you can laser ablate the copperfoil

I am gonna try 20W Fiber Laser on pcb, will wake you up if i get good result.

Your big challenge, apart from reflectivity, is going to be depth of focus so you don't wind up cutting all the way through the FR4.

Be careful when you do this. I believe copper fumes are somewhat toxic.

I believe most people that have used a laser to etch copper boards coat the boards with flat black paint or resit prior to etching to reduce reflections...  You might even be able to bond some flat black paper and burn through that...

"Electric   Paint   is   intended   for   use   with   low   voltage   DC   power   sources   and   has   not   been   
tested   with   sources   exceeding   12VDC.   Higher   voltages   are   not   recommended."
