LCD screen

Hi All,
I have an issue with one of my TV's due to water damage, I did find the item on ebay but my question is how to connect (solder) it?

And a picture of my LCD attached. basically the whole right side connections to the screen needs to be replaced (3 flex cables).

it looks tough.

my only suggestion is the solder wicking method.

get some desoldering braid (thin stuff, probably 1.5mm)

but the thing, is that I am referring to the other end, which is attached the glass of the LCD. I am comparing it to flex cables in calculator for example between the board and the glass.
there is not solder but kind like glue.

your photo doesnt make it clear.

maybe that the "glue" is in fact glue, and is only there to give mechanical strength.

underneath, it may be smd soldered.

if so, you will need a hot air gun to heat up, soften the glue, which can then be removed with  a paper towel, to expose the soldering.

in any event, this is very delicate stuff, and you will need to take great care with the temperatures
