     Is there an option or feature in hi-tide of Hi-Tech for measuring the time spent in the debug mode. I want to have a clear idea of the time the micro spends on each function. Thanks in advance.

I haven't been watching this thread for a while, but here it comes...
MPLAB IDE is equipped with the timing you are asking for(MPLAB sim). Myself I tested the timing with MPLAB C18 compiler and the Getting Started.pdf in chapter 4. It can be downloaded from MicroChip site. I don't know wether this simulator can be found in Hi-tide(I don't use it). Work Yr. way from there...
