I have a quick question on the Raspberry PI Camera module to display live video on its own monitor.

How would you display live video from a PI Camera module on its own display monitor via hdmi port (not streaming over network)?
For eg. assume you need to monitor live video from your microscope, which is fitted with a PI cam module on RP and a 7" lcd monitor.

Thanks for the help.
