8051 Hardware simulator

Hi, im looking for a hardware simulator that supports a number of 8051, 8032 variants made by NXP, ATMEL, etc.  I tried proteus but unfortunately it does not have many models and therefore i cannot test a design that uses I2C or SPI. Please share any useful info.

For the I2C part you can use the µVision simulator included in the keil development package. On the website www.c51.de are free plugins for µVision which emulates a bunch of I2C components attached to free selectable pins. With that you can test the I2C code part of your software and hardware.
There is also a lcd simulation plugin which correctly simulates hd44780 lcd components attached to the mcu.

Proteus can support I2C and SPI simulator. You can check software and hardware by 2 solutions.

1. In the Visual instruments menu select the I2C DEBUGGER or SPI DEBUGGER
2. Place the I2C or SPI devices and connect to MCU, you can try to simulation.

To spicysurya: Yes, proteus can simulate 51x MCU, but proteus has some model errors. So, if you trace the program step by step, interrupt does not work, but in play mode is all wright. You must pay attention to this. In my project: model DS1307 give me 1Herz in 2 seconds(SQW signal change on proteus generator) PCF8583 does not give acknowledgements on control byte.

I did project on AT89C2051 and it can be useful for you
