Somebody can help me!!!
I need a help to build a tachometer with PIC 16F877 using a CCP port, and a square wave frequency is what will determinate the RPM.
i am using th ccs pcwh as programmer.
SOrry about my english.:rolleyes: .. i'm a brazilian guy, so if the anwser be in portuguese i will prefer...

Hello,
You can use the Ext Int (rb0) and timer1 to catch the time between pulses, then you have the period for calculate the frequency or rpm.
