Any one know where I can find a copy of IAR Embedded Workbench V2.21A for PIC16/17.

Well, I have myself looked for this PIC compiler for a while without success. I think the reason this compiler is not as popular as Hi-Tec or CCS is that it only supports very few PIC16/17 devices. I have carried on successful and easy implementations using CCS and Hi-Tec compilers, which can be both be found posted around everywhere!

We use this compiler at Uni so would have been nice to have used it at home. I will use another compiler and hope that the code cross compiles on the IAR compiler.

do you have a copy of the IAR EWB V2.21C for PIC16/17 (date: 15.10.2004, from IAR ftp site)?
If yes, I have a hex patch (made by me in 2004) for this compiler...

Use a simple HEX editor (for example: Hiew) to make the patchs.
